Southampton-based Imperial Motor Yachts have been appointed as factory agent for the Steeler Yachts range.
The Dutch Shipyard aims to strengthen it’s position in the offshore market and the cooperation with Imperial Motor Yachts is a logical step in this process.
Michael Miller, Managing Director of Imperial Motor Yachts, said ”Imperial are delighted to have been appointed to represent Steeler Yachts. We have been working with the Dutch Motor Yacht industry for 20 years, during which time we have become renowned specialists in the supply and build of high quality Dutch Yachts. On our initial visit to the factory we were very impressed with the quality of build, standard fixtures and the innovative design features evident throughout the range.
Increasingly, clients are asking us about fuel economy and Steeler Yachts certainly deliver in this respect. Steel and Aluminium hulls allow complete freedom of interior design. Clients work closely with the design team to completely customise the interior to meet their needs and cruising aspirations. Owners looking to cruise in displacement mode or to obtain the higher speeds available with an Aluminium hull, can be confident that Steeler Yachts build a boat to fully satisfy their aspirations.
Steeler Yachts corporate ethos is a perfect marriage with our own – we look forward to a long working partnership together with this fine Dutch Yard.”
Steeler Yachts is looking forward to working together with the experienced team of Imperial.
Hans Webbink, CEO of Steeler Yachts, said “Steeler Yachts is spreading it’s wings throughout Europe and that requires cooperation with partners that share the same values. From the first meeting onwards we enjoyed the personal relationship with the Imperial team and we are very impressed with their knowledge and experience in the offshore market.
For Steeler it is important to continue developing innovative motoryachts that hit the right button with potential buyers. The input of Imperial based on their large customers base and their experience with Dutch motoryachts will certainly be of great value in our development process.
The personal approach that is required to build a bespoke motoryacht for every single customer is, and always will be, our common aim.”
